What We Do
When starting our first business, we naturally draw on the skills and expertise we’ve acquired over the course of our lives and careers. These skills will often prove invaluable to achieve growth and success in the early stages of the business journey. If, however there is a real desire to scale our business, then a shift in gear may be required. This shift often requires our business adopting additional skills and capabilities to drive future sustainable growth.
At NextGear, we provide structure and support for clients to identify, acquire and develop these capabilities and to make the various shifts in gears necessary to achieve a valuable, asset focused and scalable business.
How We Work
We provide specifically tailored solutions to meet your individual needs and deliver them at a pace that suits you best. Depending on the level of engagement required, we assign one or more NextGear associates with the right expertise to work with you, your management team and any other team members as required.
We do not seek unnecessary engagement longevity with our clients. Instead, what is key for us is to transfer our knowledge, tools and techniques to you and your management team so that you can continue to evolve and scale your business independent of our input.

Our clients success is our success and therefore it is vitally important we are selective about who we work with. We work with niche and mid-tier talent and technology companies that are serious about scaling-up and/or shifting up a gear.
